DESCRIPTION:The following webinar organized by PIXEL Project is focused on describing their platform in detail. In addition\, DataPorts Project will participate in this webinar. Andreu Belsa (UPV) will present DataPorts and its synergies with Pixel in a slot called “Cross-fertilisation between research projects: synergies with DataPorts and the use of FIWARE in maritime ports’ innovation initiatives” \nPIXEL (Port IoT for Environmental Leverage) is the first smart\, flexible and scalable solution for reducing environmental impacts while enabling the optimization of operations in port ecosystems through IoT. In the last stage of the project we are releasing new approaches and technologies ready to be implemented in ports of all sizes to fit you to the challenges ahead. They will seamlessly integrate your infrastructure and provide you with a dynamic quantitative measure of your environmental performance\, leveraging the data sources and sensors you already have at the port. \nIn this third webinar\, the PIXEL platform will be presented. Now that you know about the purpose of PIXEL and its different use cases\, Models and Scientifics Algorithms\, we will present you the engine that allow all of this to work: The PIXEL Platform. Its research department supply the group innovation pipeline with short to mid-term projects\, while maintaining a significant share of more long-term research projects in all the domain that will impact telecom activity like IoT and Smart Cities solutions. \n  \nThe Distributed Real Time Systems Lab (DRTSL) belongs to the Communications Department of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The background of UPV relates mainly to the development of innovative Next Generation Internet-based technologies with a clear practical\, on-field orientation to solve current Industrial problems. The head group has a vast (25+ years) experience on European-funded research projects. Researchers of the group (more than 20 people) have played many roles within those projects\, ranging from Coordinators (INTER-IoT\, PIXEL\, ASSIST-IoT)\, Technical Co-Coordinators\, developers or integration leaders to stakeholder-connectors\, Community Managers\, Scientific Dissemination leaders\, among other. \n  \nPRODEVELOP is a Spanish SMA that provides technological solutions for the port sector for more thatn 27 years.
